So what news do I have to report? Well I fell the foremost important should be Vilcabamba. And sorry if any of this is the same as the email updates. We got a taxi to Vilcabamba. It's about 40 mins away and is all down mountain lanes. I truly believe the taxi driver was drunk. He drove incredibly fast, overtook everything on blind bends!! He then went through the village at 50mph these two little kids ran out and we were really close to hitting them. Luke shouted at him to slow down and not be such an idiot. We wont travel with him again!! We had been recommended a hotel called Ish Kiluma. It was amazing! We stayed in a really lush cabin just the two of us. It had a huge veranda that overlooked the mountains. IN the Veranda was a huge hammock. We laid in the hammock quite a lot looking at the views and the stars at night time. It has a nice swimming pool and a bar. The bar has a pool table and a ping pong table which is all free to guests. It really is beautiful and the food was amazing. We will definitely have to go stay there for a few days when you visit. The next day we had a lazy morning and then met Heidi for horse riding. She knows the guy who owns the horses and he only gives his best horses to her. He has a big reputation for having the best horses in the province. Luke was given a really frisky one (he asked for it) and I was given a beautiful one called Principay. What an amazing ride!!! It was Luke, Heidi, Myself and Wilson (guy who owns the horses). We only walked going up hill and down steep slopes. It was the fastest ride I have ever done. And the horses loved it. Lukes was incredibly fast and it would refuse to Walk. He rode up behind everyone until Wilson let him take the lead for a bit. If luke's horse was held back from running he would start to buck so Luke obliged him and ran everywhere and I mean RAN. We rode up mountain sides down through valleys through a huge raging river (just like the one out of river runs through it). We then rode along the valley to a place we stopped to get beer and lemonade. We got back on the horses and started to make the ride home,. It was flat the whole way home. It should take 45 mins to make it home. All we had to do was loosen the reins and hold on. The horses flew along. We never once stopped. We all rode together (looking like something out of a western) and the locals cheered and waved. All through the town we rode like that till we made it to his place. It took us Exactly 5 mins to make it back. Wilson said he has never been with a group that has let him do that before. He said the boys usually show off and the girls whine. It was the most amazing ride ever. The whole afternoon 2-6:30 was only $15, about £8 I guess. When you come we will definitely do it again. You will love every second of it. Then we came home.
