So how did we enjoy it I hear you cry?
Muchly. Was very tiring. The Inca trail............. I can still imagine it now. It was a BOILING hot day, your back is pouring with sweat, your arm pits smell like a drunk after three days of vomit. You are walking at a mega fast speed up hill and scaling mountains. My goodness me I fell like I have lost every inch of fat on me. It is HARD walking and I aint telling no lies. Mumma dont speak nothing but the truth. Was nice though, I enjoyed the walk more than matchupitchu.

Cusco was very pretty, very annoying with beggers and people getting angry that you wont buy postcards but nice. But on the way back........we caught a bus from Lima to Pinu. It is an overnight bus, it leaves at 4pm and should arrive at 7am. But at 6 we are awoken as the bus has been standing still for ages. Luke goes out to find put what the problem is. Apparently there is a strike. Luke and Tom get off the bus and trot off to find out more. We are in a desert area. There is at least 50-60 buses lined up waiting and in front of them all along the higway is huge great sand dunes with branches and trees and people sat over them. They said it had started at 12pm and they were going to do it for 24hrs.

So Luke asked how far till the other side of the protest. They said about 20 mins and you should find some taxis to take you further. So we get all our back packs off the bus and start walking. We have walked an hour and still no sign of anything. About 30mins later the police drive past, in the distance we see loads of smoke and shouting then the buses start through. So we have to jump back on the bus. I almost thought I was going to die the walk was everlasting and it was up hill, and I had my massive backpack on. WAH.
